We are so very proud to announce that last year we was a finalist for the Active Wellbeing Award presented by Active Essex! Wellbeing has always been such an important part to us when creating Step'n'Smile so we couldn't be more happy with this award! We thank those who nominated us and to Active Essex for choosing us as 1 of the 3 finalists for this award, we was so honoured to be a part of this experience and fingers crossed for the next one!

Sarah & Sarah whom own Step'n'Smile Fitness & Wellbeing are also ambassadors of the 'This Girl Can' Campaign run by Active Essex. Being a part of Active Essex means we are also involved with the 'Find Your Active' Scheme, this is an online site that allows people to search their local area for an activity that suits them! Step'n'Smile can be found on this site and hopes to meet lots of new local people from this too!

On 29th August 2021 Step'n'Smile hosted an afternoon tea to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. We was absolutely delighted with how many people came together to help us raise an absolutely amazing £637.70! We had cakes baked by attendees of the classes, books and puzzles being sold, lots of tea and coffee to be purchased and a raffle with wonderful donated prizes! We had such a great afternoon and look forward to the next one!!

One coach, a nervous/excited person and a castle... made an amazing day trip out!! In september 2021 we took a coach to Hever Castle to watch Sarah participate in her very first Triathlon! The atmosphere was buzzing and it was such an exciting day and really heart warming to see how much support Sarah had around her at all times! Everywhere she swam, cycled and ran there was a Step'n'Smile supporter cheering her on every step of the way! We even finished the day with some stepping to the live band!

On Sunday 4th September, we hosted our second afternoon tea for Breast Cancer Now Charity! With the help from all of our amazing ladies and gentlemen, the afternoon went absolutely perfeclty! We had a cake/pastry stall, a tombola, a raffle and a selling stall! There was queues at every stall and mostly everything was sold with all profits to the charity! Our grand total... double what we did last year...£1014.00!! Thank you to everyone to attended, had a stall, and supported the event!

Saturday 1st October, Step'n'Smile took over Lakeside Shopping Centre!!

We were invited to take part in the We Are Creative Thurrock event taking place in the heart of Lakeside! We had an amazing 27 of us dancing!!! The atmosphere was through the roof, we brought the crowds in and most importantly we had so much fun! Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was an event to remember!!

For the second year running Step'n'Smile are finalists for the Active Essex Awards!!! We are so so proud to be a finalist for the second year in a row, and this time we actually get to go to the awards ceremony!!  Last year we were finalists for the 'Wellbeing Award', this year we are up for the 'Active Club Of The Year Award!' We can't thank everyone enough for their nomination, it means more to us than you will ever know! We will update this info in regards to us being finalists... or winners! We will see...
